The end of a year, the start of a new decade

THE END OF THE YEAR, THE START OF A NEW DECADE.

Can you all remember where you were on Dec 31st, 2009, and what you wanted to manifest for the year and decade ahead? Nope, neither can I! This year I’m going to write it down. I’m pretty sure I was already plotting and planning towards having my own studio one day. That dream came true big time this year.

2019 for me got off to a great start with House & Home awarding me the title of The One to Watch. We were published in multiple magazines and were shortlisted in The International Design and Architecture Awards in London.

I visited design weeks in New York, Sao Paulo (which is why I now have a swing in my studio) and London and saw some incredible places in Spain courtesy of Cosentino. Travel really feeds my design soul.

But above all in this last year of this amazing decade, we had the pleasure of working with some gorgeous people. My design vision for a project can only come to life with clients who have faith and trust in the process, and we need an army of talented trades, vendors and craftsmen to bring it all to life.
