New York, New York – New Design Inspirations Galore

Gosh! May, where did it go?  It has all been a bit of a very busy blur but here is a roundup of some of the fabulous things I saw during New York design week.

Taking time away from my business can be hard, especially with my own personal vacation time looming right around the corner, but New York design week has become a must see in my design diary.

I like to know who makes the pieces that I am specifying in my client projects, I like to connect with the designers and owners, and I need to touch and see up close the quality of the workmanship. Then when I return to Toronto I can specify with ease and confidence. Having a week away, simply to be immersed in all things design is amazing for my creative juices. There is so much inspiration and I took close to 1000 photos!
