From Brazil to The Kawartha’s

Well, where do I begin? It’s been a whirlwind of a month, maybe fitting seeing as it’s the last month of summer. I always find that there is a rush at the end of the month as we all prepare for back to school.

The weather has defiantly shifted, the daylight hours are getting a little shorter, but I am very happy that we are heading towards my favourite season. Fall, the time to follow natures lead, to let go, regroup, dig deep and let your ideas ferment and develop. But we are not there yet, still plenty of warm days ahead I feel.

Talking of warm days…….

BRAZIL

Last week I was a guest at Brazilian Design Week. The Raiz Project kindly flew and hosted me in Sao Paulo. They are an organization responsible for connecting, establishing and nurturing commercial relationships of Brazilian designers abroad.

I had the most amazing time and I will write a dedicated Journal post on the city of Sao Paulo and post it on my website when I have all my thoughts written down. They are currently still swirling in my head.
