Glimmers of light & the GGI 5 Step Design Process

My newsletter always starts as a blank word document, some days this can seem like a good thing (especially when I have lots to share), other times it can seem a little daunting (when I’m not quite so sure where my train of thought is going to take me).

I always love to start with sourcing my trio of header images as this will help dictate the newsletters colour palette. For this newsletter, I opted to show a gorgeous kitchen renovated by a British design firm. I love how they retained the period plaster mouldings and trims in this otherwise clean and modern kitchen. The very photogenic porridge recipe looks like something that the home owner would make and I imagine that she dresses like the final image – oh how I love the stacked bangles, especially the fluted gold cuff at the bottom. The touch of gold and denim flows nicely to the image below.
