ContemporaryOur clients are a newly retired couple who enjoy this home as their city base during the fall and spring seasons, we created an inviting and comfortable space that is easy to manage and maintain.
We created greater connection between the spaces on the main floor by opening up the kitchen which increased flow and light to the entire main floor. We relocated the fireplace and wrapped it with open shelves lined with mica stone wallpaper. Layering in carpets and upholstered textiles in warm and inviting colours completed the transformation.
The stunning kitchen is anchored with a bold black and ivory countertop and millwork in three different laminate finishes.
We incorporated classic pieces of furniture into the contemporary design in a muted yet warm palette.
